As we gather to celebrate the 73rd Annual Dinner of the Great Neck Synagogue, I am filled with immense gratitude and admiration for this year’s honorees: Erran and Lisa Kagen, Michael and Leslie Kule, and Mark and Sharon Twersky. Each of these exceptional couples has played a vital role in shaping our synagogue into the warm, dynamic, and thriving community we cherish today.

Erran and Lisa Kagen have demonstrated exemplary leadership, with Erran serving as President of the synagogue. Their dedication, wisdom, and genuine care for our members have strengthened the bonds of our community and guided us through meaningful growth.

Michael and Leslie Kule bring warmth and joy to our congregation. Whether through their active participation, kindness, or even their culinary excellence as winners of the synagogue’s cholent competition, they embody the spirit of connection and generosity that defines our shul.

Mark and Sharon Twersky have been pillars of service and devotion, with Mark serving faithfully as our Executive Director for many years. Their unwavering commitment, humility, and personal sacrifice have left a profound and lasting legacy that will continue to impact our synagogue for generations.

Together with my wife Jenny, It is a privilege to recognize these outstanding individuals whose contributions reflect the highest ideals of Torah, chesed, and communal responsibility. May Hashem bless them and their families with good health, happiness, and continued success.

With deep appreciation and heartfelt thanks,

Rabbi Moshe Genack
